Joy World Universal Church
Joy World Universal Church is a combination of two churches, Joy World Mission Church and Christ Universal Ministries that merged in January 2010. The Merger Committee hired the services of Blackwell Burke PA Law Firm located downtown Minneapolis to handle the legal aspects of the merger. On November 19, 2009 the ARTICLE OF INCORPORATION was filed with the State of Minnesota and the name JOY WORLD UNIVERSAL CHURCH was registered. A committee was appointed to write the By-Laws and Constitution for the new church.
The church comprises primarily of Liberian immigrants and is generally non-denominational though it was recently affiliated with the Mid-American Baptist Churches. Its membership is open to anyone who professes faith in the Lord Jesus Christ as the only begotten Son of God and holds the Holy Bible at the true Word of the only True and Living God. The church is congregationally governed and has an Executive Committee as its highest desicion making body. The Senior Pastor is the head and chair of the Executive Committee. What We Believe
